I
am still on one of the early rungs of my career. I am
giving below a list of what I feel are key achievements
in my role of a concert artiste. This is not an attempt
to brag. I look upon each of these as catalysts in boosting
my performances and also in my attempt at providing
rasikas the very best in Carnatic Music. With Gods grace
and with the good wishes of rasikas I should succeed
in this endeavour.

- Received the Flautist award and Main Artist award of
the Youth Association for Classical Music, Madras from
Sri DK Jayaraman |

- Received the Nyapati Ranganayakammal Award for Junior
Flautists of the Music Academy, Madras, from Smt ML Vasanthakumari. |

- Received the Flute Mali award of the Music Academy,
Madras, from Dr Raja Ramanna |
| 1995
- Received the title Kalaimamani from the Government of
Tamilnadu. Kum. J Jayalalitha gave away the award. |

- Received Bharat Kalachar's Yuva Kala Bharati from Lalgudi
Sri G Jayaraman. |

- Received the Kalki Centenary Award, instituted by the
Kalki Memorial Trust, from Smt Prabha Sreedevan, Judge,

- Received the Kartik Fine Arts' Isai Peroli title from

2007 - On June 21, there was a Flute Recital by Sikkil Mala Chandrasekhar who is the granddaughter-in-law of M.S. Subbalakshmi. She packed the concert with the best of compositions and she was able to maintain the lyrical excellence of the great composers despite the fact that she was playing the flute. This was probably because of the Gayaki style in which she performs, which makes her concerts extremely lilting and melodious.

SIRONMANI" at DUBAI by Dubai Thamizh family.

& 2006 April, Concert tour of the USA in connection
with the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival. The
program was sponsored By BHAIRAVI FINE ARTS and the
same were highly successful.

March, Successful Tour of France and Germany.
- 2005
September, Concert tour of London in connection with
the mridangam arangetram of Thushan Tharmadurai who
is the disciple of Mr.Somasundaram Ayyakannu (who
in turn happens to be the disciple of noted mridangist
maestro, Shri Karaikudi Mani.
